These terms apply to the Bonbona app, published by STARMOON TECHNOLOGIES INC. By downloading or using Bonbona you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
Bonbona is a storybook app designed for young children, roughly ages four to six. It is intended to be downloaded and set up by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for supervising how a child uses it. If you are downloading Bonbona on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that you accept these terms for them.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Bonbona on devices you own or control, for private family use. You may not copy, sell, rent, sub-licence, or redistribute the app, and you may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract its source code or its story assets, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
All stories, characters, illustrations, narration, music, and software in Bonbona are owned by STARMOON TECHNOLOGIES INC. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you. The Bonbona name and logo are our trade marks.
Use Bonbona lawfully and for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the app, gain unauthorised access to any system connected to it, or use it to infringe anyone's rights.
Bonbona has no user accounts and no sign-in, and it contains no advertising of any kind. We will never ask a child to buy anything.
The current version contains no in-app purchases. If we introduce them, they will be handled entirely through the Apple App Store, they will sit behind a step intended for a grown-up rather than a child, and we will update these terms and the effective date above before the change takes effect. Payment is processed by Apple; we never see or receive your card details. Purchases, refunds, and any subscription management are governed by Apple's terms and handled through your Apple Account settings.
We may add, change, or remove stories and features, and we may update the app from time to time. We may also suspend or discontinue Bonbona. We will try to give reasonable notice of any significant change, but we cannot guarantee that the app will always be available or free of interruption.
Bonbona is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STARMOON TECHNOLOGIES INC. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of Bonbona. Because Bonbona is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You may stop using Bonbona at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 3, 7, 8, and 11 survive termination.
These terms are between you and STARMOON TECHNOLOGIES INC. only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Bonbona or its content, and has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. In the event of any third-party claim that the app infringes that party's intellectual property rights, Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, or discharge of that claim. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which STARMOON TECHNOLOGIES INC. operates, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Bonbona after a change means you accept the updated terms.
